Refund & Billing Policy
Last updated: [DATE — pending finalization]
1.1 Plans covered
This policy applies to all paid subscription plans on AUREM's Personal Track (vibe-coding, idea-to-app product), billed via Stripe. It does not apply to Developer Track usage billed separately, if applicable — [confirm whether Developer Track has separate billing terms].
1.2 Billing cycle
- Subscriptions are billed
[monthly/annually]in advance, starting on the date of purchase. - Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- Prices are shown in
[CURRENCY]and exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
1.3 Free tier
- The free tier includes
[feature list, e.g. shared database, unlimited draft/preview, N app deployments]. - Free tier usage is subject to the quotas and rate limits described in our documentation, which may change with notice.
1.4 Refunds — general policy
- Within
[7/14]days of first payment, if you have not used[define: e.g. "materialized more than 1 project" or "consumed more than X in generation credits"], you may request a full refund. - After
[7/14]days, or after exceeding the usage threshold above, payments are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as described below. - Refunds, where granted, are issued to the original payment method within
[5-10]business days.
1.5 Situations where a refund WILL be considered
- A billing error caused by AUREM (e.g. duplicate charge, incorrect plan charged).
- Extended platform outage on our side that materially prevented you from using the service for
[X consecutive hours/days]during your billing period. - You were charged after a cancellation request was submitted correctly and confirmed by our system before the renewal date.
1.6 Situations where a refund will NOT be considered
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated code quality or output (the nature of AI generation means output quality varies; we do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose).
- Change of mind after using paid features (e.g. after a dedicated Supabase database has been provisioned and used).
- Suspension or termination of your account for a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy — no refund is owed in these cases.
- Third-party service costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g. compute already provisioned for a dedicated database).
1.7 Downgrades (Paid → Free)
- When you downgrade or your subscription lapses, your dedicated database (if provisioned) follows our data-retention policy: data is migrated back to the shared free-tier database within 7 days of downgrade, after which the dedicated project is deleted.
- You may request a full data export before the grace period ends by
[describe process/contact]. - We are not responsible for data loss if no action is taken within the grace period stated at the time of downgrade.
1.8 Cancellation
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from Account Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access until then, with no partial-period refund for the unused portion, except where Section 1.5 applies.
1.9 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank/card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and any deployed applications while the dispute is investigated.
1.10 Contact for billing issues
